You need to remember that most of the ceo's of bigger alliances and corps are not normal people. If they were they wouldn't spend enough time for it to be a job at a game, and play it like a job. The best CEO's will often be over 30, have a very basic or low pressure/status job (or none at all), a low matinance wife/gf/none, and they get to be little napoleon in game because they have the time in the will. As such you will have people making little power trips at times telling you what you have to do, which is quite amusing since the odds are they are taking fry orders or moving boxes when they are at their job.
Ask yourself what your corp offers you that makes your gaming more fun, what your alliance offers, and if its not enough then get out of dodge.
I'm a CEO and have my corporation is just over 100 members. I don't do fry orders. I work 16 to 18 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week. I am a United States Marine in a highly stressful work invornment and have been for the past 9 years. The best CEO is someone who knows how to manage his time. I know a lot of other corporation CEO's that are doctors, lawyers, cops, military personnel. The BEST CEO's are the ones who lead people in RL or soon will be in their future careers in life. Running a corporation in eve is nothing different then leading people in RL. All leadership is, is the ability to manipulate the way others think and what they do, to mirror what you want them to think and do. that is the prime ability for any leader. That is what leading is. You must make people WANT to do what you are asking them to and to do that you must gain trust and respect from those people.
Now since I have a career where I work long hours in a highly stressful and dangerous job and a wonderful wife with two great kids does that make me a bad CEO? I tell you what...go ask my guys what they think of my leadership abilities and what I have done for them and what they have done for me.
My corporation has gone from one of eve to the other, because I asked them to, many times. Do you think they would have done that if they did not trust in my abilities to lead them. I think you sir need to buy a clue and figure out what really makes a good leader/CEO/Alliance exec. It takes intelligence and skill to lead an organization that has more then 30 people...you can do that with 2 hours a day or 10 hours a day...just depends on how well you can organize yourself.
